Intuity Communications hosted customers and partners at Twickenham’s Marriot Pitch-side suites for the 2017 London Double-Header
The fixture is the traditional start of the English Premier League season and a great event to celebrate rugby at its best. This didn’t disappoint and on Saturday 2nd September 2017, Saracen’s faced Northampton Saints and newly promoted London Irish took on Harlequins.
The scene was set – the ground bathed in sunshine, and a few cold beverages in hand. Intuity Communications MD Martin Green welcomed the guests and assured everyone of a fabulous day of rugby and entertainment – and he wasn’t wrong!
Saracens ran away with a 55-24 win, leaving the Saints licking their wounds at a disappointing opening campaign result. The following match was just as breath-taking, seeing the newly promoted Irish taking the scalp of Quinns 39-29. The reactions were somewhat mixed in the Intuity Communications camp, with at least 2 Quinns supporters feeling disappointed.
Smiles were soon restored when Sam Griffiths won the sweepstake, coming the closest to predicting the outcome of the matches. and received Ian McGeechan’s book “The Lions – when the going gets tough”. Pictured receiving the prize from Intuity Communications’ MD Martin Green.
